A wonderful combination of SCIENCE and HISTORY in a presentation form that will attract even the most reluctant young reader.
Described as an IMAX-style adventure comic, I didn’t see a listed target audience although the term “all ages” is listed in the blurb.
I believe this beautifully illustrated hard-cover book will be enjoyed by the very young who are delighted yet amazed at the startling illustrations.
NOTE: this is a GRAPHIC, graphic novel with a realistic picture of the shark as a predator.
Middle school readers will welcome this detailed evolution of sharks over 400 million years., naming the many species of sharks and their history and adult readers with an interest in sharks and the sea will find this appealing and attention-grabbing as well.
